Financial Controller – Paris

About the role

Pivot has just closed a $40M Series B and is looking for a Financial Controller to build a solid finance foundation for rapid hyperscaling. Based in Paris, you will own the end‑to‑end accounting process, work with external firms across three geographies and help transition to an internal finance engine.

Key responsibilities

• Own the monthly close process end‑to‑end and consolidate accounts across France, the US and the UK.
• Coordinate and manage three external accounting firms, driving the future internalisation of accounting.
• Build a real‑time reporting layer and deliver SaaS‑focused financial reports to the Board.
• Design and enforce internal controls for procure‑to‑pay, revenue recognition and payroll.
• Lead the annual statutory audit and ensure tax compliance (VAT, corporate income tax, payroll taxes) in each jurisdiction.
• Maintain and evolve accounting policies in line with French GAAP and IFRS.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role in a fast‑growing tech or SaaS company.
• Hands‑on experience with multi‑entity consolidation (US, UK, France).
• Familiarity with French GAAP and IFRS reporting standards.
• Ability to work with external auditors, tax authorities and cross‑functional teams.
• Strong analytical mindset and a builder attitude – eager to automate processes and adopt new tools.
