Financial Controller – Management Control & Reporting

About the role

As a Financial Controller you will work within the Finance team, partnering closely with the Head of Finance to steer the company’s financial performance. You will be responsible for management control, budgeting, forecasting and building reporting tools that support strategic decisions in a fast‑growing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the preparation, monitoring and re‑forecasting of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Analyse budget versus actuals, assess P&L impacts and propose improvement actions.
• Build, automate and continuously improve dashboards, BI tools and other reporting solutions.
• Lead the monthly accounting close, produce financial statements and management reports.
• Act as the operational liaison for accounting, legal and external service providers.
• Prepare audit materials, ensure regulatory compliance and strengthen internal controls.
• Monitor daily cash flows, collections, operational expenses and manage the office‑budget and fixed‑asset inventory.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Audit, Management Control or Corporate Finance.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in audit, management control or finance, preferably in a startup or SME.
• Fluent in French and good command of English.
• Strong analytical mindset, trustworthy and comfortable working in a collaborative, high‑tempo environment.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and Google Sheets (pivot tables, complex functions, large data handling).
• Experience with BI/dashboard tools and financial modelling.
• Data analysis and automation capabilities.
