WASH Program Manager

About the role

The WASH Program Manager will provide overall leadership and oversight for water, sanitation and hygiene programmes in Laos, ensuring alignment with World Vision’s national strategy, standards and donor requirements. This role drives the development, implementation and quality assurance of interventions that improve child wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic direction of WASH programming, adapting policies and guidelines to the local context.
• Identify WASH‑related causes of poor child wellbeing and shape national strategy and interventions.
• Develop business plans, annual priorities and tools to support programme implementation.
• Ensure compliance with donor and grant requirements, track implementation plans and produce regular reports.
• Oversee quality monitoring, data management and knowledge sharing of best practices.
• Secure adequate funding by supporting concept note and proposal development and managing grants.
• Build and strengthen partnerships with government ministries, CSOs and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in WASH programme management within a humanitarian or development context.
• Experience developing policies, guidelines and protocols and ensuring their implementation.
• Demonstrated ability to manage donor compliance, reporting and grant administration.
• Strong partnership and networking skills with government and civil‑society organisations.
