Senior Manager, IT Asset Management (ITAM)

About the role

The Senior Manager, IT Asset Management (ITAM) will lead the global strategy, governance and execution of IT asset management across a large, complex enterprise. Reporting to senior leadership, you will ensure that hardware, software, SaaS and emerging technology assets are managed as strategic business resources throughout their lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive a global ITAM strategy aligned with technology, sourcing, financial and risk objectives.
• Lead a worldwide ITAM organization, establishing operating models, roles and performance expectations.
• Standardize asset management practices for hardware, software, SaaS and emerging technologies.
• Own the Flexera One platform vision, standards and success metrics, delegating configuration to operational teams.
• Ensure Flexera One delivers accurate asset visibility, entitlement integrity, audit readiness and spend optimization.
• Oversee integrations with enterprise systems such as ITSM, procurement, discovery tools and ERP, ensuring data quality.
• Establish enterprise IT asset governance in partnership with IT, Procurement, Finance, Security and Legal.

Required profile

• Extensive leadership experience in enterprise‑wide IT Asset Management.
• Deep working knowledge of Flexera One IT Asset Management and IT Visibility platforms.
• Proven ability to set direction, guide cross‑functional teams and hold partners accountable for outcomes.
• Strong understanding of governance, compliance, risk management and cost‑optimization principles.
