Senior Finance Accountant

About the role

Ocorian is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Senior Finance Accountant based in Mauritius. The role involves managing financial statements, preparing reports, ensuring regulatory and tax compliance, and supporting audit activities.

Key responsibilities

• Review and analyse financial data to ensure accuracy.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare forecasts and contribute to corporate budgeting.
• Provide financial analysis to support strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and maintain internal controls.
• Support audit processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in financial accounting, financial analysis, and preparation of financial statements.
• Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting practices.
• Knowledge of taxation, regulatory compliance, and audit processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) preferred.
• Experience in the financial services or corporate sector is advantageous.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time‑management skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with accounting software systems.
