Learning and Development Manager

About the role

Cheval Blanc Seychelles is looking for a Learning and Development Manager to lead the design, delivery and evaluation of training programmes for its Ambassadeurs. The role ensures that staff have the skills and knowledge required to maintain the Maison’s high‑quality standards and to support revenue‑generating initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse performance data, identify skill gaps and define training needs across the property.
• Develop and implement learning strategies, designing programmes that align with the Maison’s objectives.
• Manage the training budget and ensure cost‑effective delivery.
• Facilitate Ambassadeur development through coaching, mentoring and feedback.
• Evaluate training effectiveness by measuring outcomes, gathering participant feedback and reporting results.
• Lead the induction and orientation process for new Ambassadeurs.
• Design and deliver training for Quality Assurance audits to ensure compliance with standards.
• Support the Director of HR in employee‑relations and revenue‑generation initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Learning & Development, Organisational Development, Education or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a learning and development role within a luxury hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design and a variety of training methods.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with senior hotel leadership.

Required skills

• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Proficiency in eLearning platforms.
