Female Home Tutor for Nursery 1 in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated female home tutor to provide one‑to‑one early childhood education for a Nursery 1 student in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos. The tutor will deliver engaging literacy, numeracy and phonics lessons twice a week, fostering communication, social interaction and confidence in a comfortable home setting.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and conduct 1‑hour lessons on literacy, numeracy and phonics every Tuesday and Thursday at 5 PM.
• Use the Nigerian early‑childhood curriculum to create age‑appropriate, fun learning activities.
• Motivate the child and support development of communication, social and creative skills.
• Monitor progress and adapt teaching methods to the child’s needs.

Required profile

• Female tutor with experience teaching Nursery 1 or similar early‑year classes.
• Comfortable working in a private home environment in Lekki Phase 1.
• Passionate about early child development and able to make learning enjoyable.

Required skills

• Literacy instruction for early learners.
• Numeracy teaching for preschool children.
• Phonics instruction aligned with the Nigerian curriculum.

What we offer

• Monthly remuneration of ₦57,596.
