Cloud Operations Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Operations Engineer to support and optimise our production cloud applications. You will design, implement and manage customer‑facing cloud environments, ensuring high availability, scalability and performance across multiple cloud platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor client‑facing environments and promptly raise performance, security or availability issues.
• Design and manage highly available, scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure and GCP.
• Implement cloud‑based solutions that follow best practices for performance, security (including IAM) and cost efficiency.
• Manage cloud resources such as virtual machines, containers, databases, networking and storage.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation or Ansible.
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines to accelerate reliable application releases.
• Automate routine operational tasks like monitoring, scaling and backups.
• Configure comprehensive monitoring, logging and alerting systems.
