Client Accountant – Belgium Focus

About the role

TMF Group is seeking a Client Accountant to support international clients establishing and developing their businesses in Belgium. Working under the supervision of senior staff, you will handle general accounting, tax compliance, and reporting for dedicated clients.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and control accounting information from clients.
• Perform bookkeeping, reconciliation, and monitoring tasks including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank transactions, employee expenses, and payroll statements.
• Prepare tax declarations and client reports.
• Assist in month‑end closing and preparatory work for financial statements.
• Interact with clients on daily tasks and ensure timely reporting to senior staff.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting.
• 4–5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong command of English and French (B2–C1).
• High integrity, trustworthy and able to handle confidential information.
• Organised, meticulous and able to meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of Belgian GAAP (preferred).
