Buyer – Procurement (Port Louis)

About the role

DHL Group is seeking a proactive Buyer to join its Corporate Procurement team in Port‑Louis, Mauritius. You will support the purchase‑to‑pay process, ensuring compliance with global, regional and local policies while contributing to the company’s sustainable and agile sourcing strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and execute the purchase‑to‑pay process in line with DHL’s procedures.
• Capture internal demand and handle non‑catalogue requests.
• Promote and drive the use of procurement catalogues.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal business partners.
• Provide first‑level user support for e‑Purchasing tools and manage catalogue content.
• Offer second‑level support for issue resolution and master data management.
• Assist the Senior Buyer with continuous process improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement, data entry, customer service or related support roles.
• Fluent in English and French (minimum B2 level).
• Responsible, proactive, detail‑oriented and a strong team player.
• Good computer literacy.

Required skills

• Experience with e‑Purchasing platforms or tools.
