About the role
The Assistant Level 1 – Cards Issuing supports clients with card‑related services such as activation, upgrades, new offers and credit‑limit adjustments, ensuring all applications are accurate and compliant.
Key responsibilities
- Contact clients to assist with card activation, upgrades, new card offers and credit‑limit increases.
- Review and validate new card applications for accuracy and policy compliance.
- Deliver a professional, friendly and customer‑centric service experience.
- Make outbound calls for issuing campaigns, including sales follow‑ups and declined‑transaction outreach.
- Handle client queries, issues and complaints, escalating when necessary.
- Apply knowledge of card and payment products while assisting clients.
- Use card management systems and e‑forms accurately.
- Collaborate with team members and internal stakeholders to meet deadlines.
- Support issuing initiatives, campaigns and business activities as required.
- Assist at service counters and in back‑office operations when needed.
Required profile
- Higher School Certificate or equivalent qualification.
- Two years of experience in a similar role or industry is an advantage.
- Strong verbal communication and confidence when engaging with clients.
- Clear and professional email writing skills.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems.
- Customer‑focused, organised and attentive to detail.
- Positive team player with a collaborative approach.
